Session Title: How Biotechnology Is Enabling the Future of Fashion

How much do you know about the materials you wear every day? The fashion industry faces huge sustainability challenges, and Bolt Threads is excited to tackle them by producing more sustainable textiles. Attendees will learn how Bolt Thread's Engineered Silk technology was inspired by the way spiders spin silk, how its model of textile production will give it more control over resource consumption, and how it plans to address sustainability challenges in the fashion industry, which are much larger than most people realize.

Special Message to Attendees from Host Company:  There is free 2-hour street parking (green spaces) on Peladeau St., which is east and parallel to Horton St. If you are unable to find parking on the street, there is also parking available in the Terraces Garage at 5855 Horton Street for a fee. Please take the elevator to the 4th floor and enter at Suite 400. We are thrilled to welcome all guests who arrive by 9:30 AM, but will be unable to admit late arrivals. We look forward to meeting you!
