Session Title: Data, behavior, and cloud computing for a more water-efficient world.

WaterSmart’s mission is to change the way the world uses water. Through its technology solutions, water utilities are able to better educate their consumers about how much water their household is using, how it compares to others and how they can save water and money. This interactive session will provide an overview of WaterSmart customer engagement, content personalization, and data analytics tools for water utilities. Through anecdote and behavioral research, Jeff Lipton Director of marketing, WaterSmart Software will describe the techniques used to influence human behavior to more efficient natural resource use and engage attendees in exercises to demonstrate the power of social norms.
