Session Title: IndieBio— Accelerating Biology to Make the Impossible Possible

Founded by Arvind Gupta, former Design Director of Product Development and Strategy at IDEO and co-founder of fitness startup Starters, IndieBio is the world’s first Synthetic Biology accelerator—devoted to funding and building startups dedicated toward solving humanity’s most pressing problems with Life itself. In this Session CSO, Ron Shigeta, and Program Director Ryan Bethencourt will provide a tour and outline the IndieBio program and how it works. Afterwards attendees will be introduced to the company’s founders, who are using biology to reenvision the human experience and economy.
