Joel Pool, CEO Of the Port Workspaces, once worked as a hedge fund manager, alone in his office and thought there must be a better way to work, network and cultivate a community. Coworking was the answer. He shared a passion for historical buildings and community with his cofounder and architect, Michael Carilli produced their four locations in Oakland.
