Session Title: Getting In and Staying In— College Access and the Success of Low-Income Students

Observe the three primary components of Summer Search’s program model firsthand: insight mentorship, experiential learning, and highly customized college advising. Together, these elements create a platform for launching talented low income youth to bright, healthy and successful futures of their choosing. Check out a multimedia presentation and engage in a dialogue on education inequity for low income communities throughout the United States, including here in the Bay Area, and how Summer Search is working with students and their families to close the education "opportunity gap."

Special Message to Attendees from Host Company: The Summer Search office is located at 500 Sansome Street in the financial district of San Francisco. We're just blocks from the Montgomery Street BART Station and there are several covered parking garages nearby, including one around the corner on Battery Street. When guests arrive they will take the elevator to the third floor. The Summer Search office is Suite 350, around the corner from the elevator, first door on the left.
