Session Title: From Pasture to Muzzle, a story of good food for good dogs!

Scrappy is turning the Pet Food Industry on its tail. Conventionally raised meat has devastating impact on the environment, on human health and welfare and is unusually cruel on livestock. While more people are moving to sustainably raised meat for themselves, the entire pet food industry is still reliant on conventioal beef, pork and chicken. Scrappy works only with ranchers who raise their animals on pasture. Meet the Scrappy ranchers and learn about the trials and opportunities of raising livestock humanely, on pasture, and why it matters. Starting with a panel discussion and moving quickly on to questions and answers, attendees will hear how humans and pets can be warriors in creating a more sustainable and just food system. Don't want to try our Scrappy treats? This session will also feature Let's be Frank hot dogs, another delivery system for grass fed beef that helps keep our ranchers on the land.
