Session Title: Growing PUBLIC— New Products & Markets

PUBLIC's founder & CEO Rob Forbes and Founding Executive & COO Dan Nguyen-Tan will share their experiences building an omni-channel retail business and growing PUBLIC into a leading lifestyle brand in the cycling industry by offering new products in selling in new markets. This session will showcase development stage products and layout  PUBLIC’s plans for expansion after successfully completing the company’s Series A fundraising round earlier this year.

Session Title: Apps, the sequel — get effortless, or get out

Join Thanx CEO and Founder Zach Goldstein for a discussion of how to build an app that serves a purpose beyond vanity and experimentation — one that ensures any pragmatic person will feel like they've stumbled upon something useful, something effortless. Learn how mobile apps, like anything, continue to evolve. Companies stuck in the past, ignoring the trend toward a new style of apps will end up missing the boat — with significant financial stakes in the balance.

Session Title: From concept to code— building a fashion-tech company 

ThirdLove's mission is to provide every woman with a beautiful, perfect-fitting bra. This session will be led by Founder, Heidi Zak and Head of Design, Ra'el Cohen. It will include a live app demo of ThirdLove’s patented sizing technology, a detailed walk-through of the company’s unique design and product development process and a sneak peek into its most recent branding.

Session Title: Spit and Discover— Get Down and Dirty with DNA

In this session, attendees will learn about how the leader in family history and consumer genetics is using data to empower individuals to take charge of their future. Ancestry’s Chief Health Officer, Cathy Petti, will discuss its latest collaborations and provide an introduction to AncestryHealth offerings. Stephen Baloglu, Senior Director of Marketing, DNA and Health will also give an under-the-hood look at the complex data science and technology pipelines that enable millions of people to discover, preserve, and share the story of what led to them. All attendees will have the opportunity to take a DNA test and begin their journey into genealogy.

CEO and Co-Founder, Anthony Soohoo, will host a thoughtful discussion on how the convergence of content and commerce is reshaping the home furnishings industry. Chevy’s Restaurant is right across the street from the parking garage entrance. Session Title: Impact and Innovation From Farm to Cup

In this panel, Ahmed Rahim and Brian Durkee, Co-Founder-CEO and COO of Numi Organic Tea, dive into the value of creating a business that drives positive global environmental and social impact through meaningful, authentic supply chain relationships. With CSR at the crux of everything Numi does, Rahim and Durkee describe how thoughtful, intentional leadership has led to Numi Organic Tea’s growth and brand differentiation. Beginning with product innovation, this panel will dive into how they fostered meaningful relationships with their supply chain partners from around the world, the process of establishing new social and environmental production standards with supply chain partners, and the positive impact that this has made on farmer lives, product innovation, and ultimately brand growth.
